Engineering Team Lead

The Role:

The position is for an Engineering Team Lead with in a large manufacturing organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

· To monitor all the technicians and their performance

· To drive the day-to-day use of preventive maintenance system

· To ensure that the technician implement the calibration systems in accordance with SOP

· To operate all Engineering documentation systems correctly and accurately

· To encourage and help ensure operation of all Production and Quality Assurance documentation systems with SOP’s

· To encourage all Engineering operations are carried out in accordance with current cGMPs

· To participate in all training and assessment activities related to the position

· To participate in all SOP training and assessment

· Ensure all relevant training documentation is completed

· Ensure that Engineering technicians are adequately trained to carry out their role

· To adhere fully to all safety policies, procedures and regulations

· To encourage and help ensure completion of Accident Report / Near Miss Forms in a timely manner after an event

· To act as a member of the Emergency Response Team as/if required.

· To ensure that Engineering work areas are in a clean and tidy state at all times. This includes the Engineering workshop, storage areas in the plant room, switch rooms etc

· To co-ordinate the activities of external contractors in relation to housekeeping and facility maintenance.



Requirements:


· 1-2 years in a similar role in a manufacturing environment

· Third level degree preferred but not essential
