Hi,
I will be leaving Ireland on a road trip to Finland in about 4 weeks time, This was a trip that i had planned over a year ago but the car that I had at the time was not fit for the journey, so I flew over, and lived there for a year.

I came back to Ireland a few months ago and am now looking to go back for a holiday, but taking the car this time.

I have looked at routes on www.aaireland.ie and all in , it´s about 3700km , not all by car, there are a lot of ferry options also.

Although I am quite happy with taking my current car, I may buy a cheap MPV, Toyota corolla or Volvo etc to take, so if there is a major engine problem on the way, I will be leaving the car where it breaks, and flying the rest of the way....

Whichever car I do decide to take will be fully prepared for the trip. GPS will also be used.

I have a lot of research to on places to stay and some sights worth viewing on the way.
