We are looking for Advertising Sales Executive who will be media, music and advertising sales focused and would love the opportunity to work for one of the best known consumer entertainment magazines in the industry. The Role
The role is to sell advertising packages (print, mobile, web, radio etc) to Dublin’s nightclubs, promoters, event managers, bars, and restaurants…………………. Dublin’s entertainment industry. You will be building relationships with promoters, lifestyle brands as well as bringing in new business and developing clients of your own. The role will be challenging and competitive and will draw on your skills and unique nightlife knowledge :) It is essential that you enjoy being out and about meeting people as you will be required to conduct 4 client appointments per day.
·Identify new business opportunities with direct marketers, online advertisers and agencies.
·Plan, develop, and execute multi-platform sales strategies including but not limited to online, print, and event programs
·Prospect, cold call, negotiate, and close sales
·Write proposals, RFPs, and presentations
·Develop relationships with new prospects on the agency and client side
The Candidate
·Some advertising sales or merchandising experience would be preferable
·Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets
·Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills
·Strong written and verbal communication skills
·Experience working with agencies and clients direct
·Experience creating and selling custom sponsorships as well as traditional ad units
·Must be a self-starter and must be extremely motivated
