GUEST SERVICES MANAGER

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and experienced Guest Sevices Managers for future contracts onboard a 5* cruise ship.

• Travel is organised and paid for by the company
• Single cabin accomodation
• 4 month contracts (approximate)

This position require you to LIVE and WORK ABOARD A CRUISE SHIP.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum five years experience in a leadership position
• Knowledge of a Guest Services/Front desk operation strongly preferred
• Knowledge of Crew Services operations
• Previous ship experience required
• Business Administration or Hospitality industry education preferred
• Excellent leadership skills, especially in the areas of team building, motivation,
innovation, communication, and service delivery process design
• Immigration and CBC clearance knowledge
• Group functions experience (conventions, weddings, etc…)
• Self-motivated with an ability to motivate and empower direct reports
• Must have strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to work in high stress situations
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks
• Proven ability to network and maintain strong partnerships
• Detail oriented
• Demonstrated proficiency with PC based data bases, spread sheets, and word
processing systems
• Flexibility to work any hours

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• 2 months in Crew Services & 2 months in Guest Services. Details as follows:

While in Manager Guest Services:
• Implementation of all policies, procedures and activities related to the efficient
and effective operation of the Guest Services department
• Support and oversee the functions of all Guest Services Managers
• Supervise the Guest Services team, Flex Team, Clearance Officer, Onboard
Sales Manager, Crew Services Operation, Concierge Managers

While in Crew Services Manager:
• Maintain and manage the berthing process
• Responsible for all US Customs and US Immigration papers to manifest the
Crew and for Crew movement in any Non-US Port
• Manages the Crew Office operation
