A superb opportunity for a keen individual to work with a successful and forward looking company who are experiencing year on year growth.
A local company requires an additional service technician/engineer to join their support team. The engineer/technician will be responsible for installation/support/modification and upgrades to instrumentation throughout their customer base.
Customer base: Universities, Schools, ITs, Hospitals, Research Institutes, Government Departments, All Industries.
Instrumentation: Environmental/Process Monitoring and gas.
Experience/Background: The candidate will ideally have at least 2 years experience of servicing, installing and commissioning instruments in the above areas and will be versed in computer hardware/software. As the role entails being in our customers own premises, experience of working in a regulated environment could be an advantage as would fault finding abilities.
Personality: The candidate will be customer focussed and have good communication/interpersonal skills, be self managing and have the ability to act on their own initiative.
Qualifications: Cert/Diploma/Degree/City and Guilds/NC/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, with at least 2 years experience of servicing electronic/electrical instrumentation in the above or related fields is desirable but not essential. A CSR card is also desirable but not essential.
Requirements: The nature of some of our clients operations are sensitive, therefore a successful applicant would be required to undertake necessary clearance procedures. A full driving licence is essential. The successful applicant must be prepared to do call outs and overtime as and when required
Remuneration: The position would initially be part-time however, as the work demands increase it is very likely to become full time.
