This is an exciting role for a Senior Social Worker who would like to work within the public and voluntary sector.

The role is based in the Dublin area and you are required to have experience within a fostering team at senior level.

You will be required to oversee the recruitment and assessment of prospective foster carers.

you will plan for successful placements in consultation with programme management.

You must ensure carers are fully prepared for placements and ensure relevant procedures are followed.

You will organise weekly meeting with foster carers.

You will be required to maintain and manage a bank of foster carers.

YOUR MAIN ADMIN DUTIES WILL ENTAIL

Maintaining excellent case records

Prepare advertisements to recruit foster carers

Provide in depth case reports for Placement Committee.

REQUIREMENTS

*You must be NSWQB/CQWS registered.
*Post qualifying experience in adoption/fostering or similar field.
*Have an indepth knowledge of Irish legislation and procedures in relation to children and families.
*Hold a current drivers licence.

Must be a self-motivated, diligent worker with positive interpersonal skills, be well organised and be able to work on own initiative.
