Calibration Technician

Duties
Your main repsonsibilities will include the setup, calibration, and troubleshooting of temperature, pressure, flow, humidity, level, density, viscosity instrumentation, pH and conductivity analysers and control valves. You will ensure stock levels of all spare parts are kept to specified quantities. You will maintain all documentation in an organised and controlled manner in compliance with GAMP and FDA. You will work with utilities teams as required to facilitate calibration activities and develop and implement systems for scheduling and documenting the performance of calibration activities. You will trend and analyse performance data to evaluate the effectiveness of calibration systems.

Education and Experience
City & Guilds 225 Parts 1, 2 & 3, or Diploma in Industrial Automation & Controls or Applied Physics and Instrumentation
At least 4 years industry based work experience

Person Specification:
A good knowledge of Calibration Systems and Automation/Controls system.
Previous relevant experience in a Calibration role.
