A highly-regarded and well-established Property Management Co. based in Dublin City currently seeks to recruit a suitably qualified accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate must possess:

Previous experience working as an accounant within the property / related sector
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong client focus
Accountancy qualification desirable
Knowledge / experience of one or more proprietry software systems desirable

Duties and responsibilities:

Overall management of the accounts function within the property management department of this company
Implementation of accounting systems such as procedures, delegation of workload, audits, client reporting etc.
Compliance with the rules of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors in relation to client account management
Regular reconciliation of client accounts and implementation of auditing procedures and report preparation
Develop strong reporting and operating systems skills and ensure department members' use of operating system is to full potential
Assist staff with general accounting queries
Regular review of property by property service charge budgeting figures
Regular liaison with external auditors and ensure auditors carry out workload efficiently and promptly
Ensure client accounting/reporting systems are reviewed regularly for the purposes of creating high-class presentational documentation
Implementation of rigorous procedures on credit management
Liaison with legal advisors when appropriate
