A unique opportunity exists for experienced Commercial staff to work on a major highway / earthworks project being undertaken in East London.

The project itself encompasses a range of heavy civils, highways and earthworks which will include. The ideal candidates will have a broad and diverse range of project experience centred around the major / heavy civil sectors and highways sector.

Role and responsibilities:
* Management of comercail aspects contract including interrogation, procurement, payments, variations and final accounts
* Identifying, raising & pricing of early warnings in line with the change control process
Monthly cost value reconciliations reports
* Cash flow - monitoring & reforecast, forecasting & predictability of final costs and weekly forecasting
* Interaction with client
* Manage and advise junior staff accordingly
* Advise and assist the site team to manage costs

Requirements:
* Major high value civil infrastructure projects experience and comfortable reporting to clients and senior staff.
* MSc/BSc or HND in Quantity Surveying or other equivalent construction related subject
* Qualified to ICES or RICS accreditation or working towards this.
* Must have experience in Target Cost and NEC Option 3 forms of Contract.
* A comprehensive level of commercial experience preferably with a contracting organisation
* Should be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of monthly reporting and earned value analysis
* Must also be experienced in commercial site management including the monthly measurement and control cycle, certificates and accruals calculations

Have excellent communication, numeric and computer literacy skills
