Purchasing Assistant
Company:
My Client is a utilities company based in Dublin and with other operations in both the North of Ireland and the UK. They are seeking to recruit an Assistant Purchaser / Buyer with 3 years proven experience within the construction industry.
The Role and Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years purchasing experience with a construction company in Ireland
- Familiarity with construction materials such as concrete, tarmac, sand, ducting etc.
- Ensure that contracts are negotiated and established reflecting the company's requirements
- Proven track record in supplier relationship development
- Taking orders and preparing purchase order entries
- Expert in negotiation
- Some experience in pricing work and assisting in tender preparation.
- Good commercial understanding and numerical ability
- Manage and negotiate service contracts for the site.
- Ideally candidates with previous experience within the utilities/civil divisions
The successful candidate must demonstrate previous experience in the above areas and only those who meet the criteria will be contacted.
Salary:
- EUR25,000 - EUR27,000
