Msf Information Evening Tues 1st December 2009 at 7.15pm, Rcsi Dublin
MSF INFORMATION EVENING ON TUESDAY DECEMBER 1ST 2009 AT 7.15PM
Come and find out more about the work of Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders.
Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is delighted to invite you to the next MSF Information Evening on Tuesday December 1st, at Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, Stephens Green, Dublin 2, at 7.15pm.
Winner of the 1999 Nobel Peace Prize, MSF is the leading independent humanitarian organisation delivering emergency medical aid in more than 65 countries around the world. MSF provides emergency life-saving relief to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural and man-made disasters or exclusion from health care, irrespective of race, religion or political affiliation.
On December 1st, we invite you to join us for an informal presentation by returned volunteers who have worked with MSF in many countries, a short film and a question and answer session to learn more about MSF and also find out how you can become part of our field work.
MSF recruits medical and non-medical professionals from a wide range of backgrounds to fill key roles in our humanitarian programmes. During the evening you will hear firsthand stories of "life in the field" and the MSF Ireland team will be on hand to discuss the recruitment process and how you can become involved in MSF’s work.
Everyone is welcome and no registration is required.
If you are unable to attend this information evening, but are interested in volunteering with us or would simply like to know more about our work, please email us at office.dublin@dublin.msf.org or visit our website at www.msf.ie.
