Based out of Dublin, our high profile client is looking to appoint an experienced IT Systems Administrator. With responsibility for 2nd and 3rd support administration, troubleshooting, build and configuration of all server farm equipment and associated applications. Responsibilities include Management of Server farm, Microsoft Active Directory on Windows 2000/ 2003, Management of Microsoft Exchange Messaging & Collaboration infrastructure Design and implementation of upgrades security patches.

The successful applicant will ideally be expected to have the following skills…
•Proven ability in server hardware builds and support, AD Windows 2000/ 2003 .
•Microsoft Exchange Messaging & Collaboration infrastructure (GFI/AntiVirus)
•Strong knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems.
•ISO270001 Knowledge of good IT security principles
•Experience of managing data centre environment.
•Troubleshooting and problem resolution in a networking/windows environment
•TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP etc.
•Understanding of Raid levels, benefits, configurations.
•Experience of using SNMP & server monitoring/reporting applications
•Strong working knowledge of desktop hardware and peripherals
•Sound understanding of networks and their infrastructure
•Knowledge of UNIX/Linux.
•Browser,Citrix and Exchange e-mail support systems
•Knowledge of MS SQL server, Kana email/web chat handling systems advantageous.
•Microsofy Proxy/IIS/ISA.
•CommVault backups or similar.
•Microsoft certified professional accreditation advantageous.
•Familarity with Dell,HP,IBM servers, desktop and laptops
•Blackberry support.
