PRIVATE BASS LESSONS
Since 1991, under the direction of Frank Kearns, SALT Rockschool has been pioneering a unique and effective method of teaching guitar, bass and drums. By putting into action the Rockschool philosophy of "meeting each student at their map of the world", students experience much greater and rapid progression than more traditional approaches.
Students receive personalised one-to-one tuition and all lessons take place in SALT Recording Studio.
On beginning, students are asked to bring a list of their favourite songs to their first lesson. The Tutors, all trained by Frank Kearns and using the Frank Kearns system of teaching, will develop a learning programme based on each student's individual interests. Students will naturally expand and develop through exploring their own musical preferences. Quite quickly, students take their playing to a new level.
Bass Guitar lessons take place during weekdays - our first lessons normally start at 3.30pm with the last lessons taking place at 8.30pm. Wednesday is an exception when our first lessons start at 2pm.
All classes are half hour duration and may be recorded by students to facilitate practice at home.
