Experience the Freedom, Discover the Passion
Ever thought about a fabulous holiday that can be as relaxed or action-packed as you choose... ON HORSEBACK? Wake up every morning to freshly-made jam and scones before heading out to get your "own" horse ready for your first ride of the day...
Crossogue House provides an equestrian holiday with a difference. Run by the Molloy family on our 150-hectare farm in Co. Tipperary, we invite a small number of guests to join us and enjoy the warmth of real family atmosphere, excellent horses and tuition combined with our unique equestrian facilities.
Guests are accommodated at Crossogue House, a Georgian house built in 1860, that is surrounded by picturesque farm and woodland offering both freedom and space in a clean and healthy atmosphere.
We welcome all standards of rider offering basic training in the arena, quiet walks along trails throughout the farm to action-packed sessions over our extensive range of cross country obstacles
Horses have been an integral part of the Molloy family at Crossogue for generations. We have bred, produced or trained horses for the highest levels in Showing, Show jumping, Eventing and Racing.
We are approved by A.I.R.E., B.H.S & Failte Ireland and are a member of Equestrian Holidays Ireland.
What makes a visit to Crossogue unique?
Just let us look after you!
If you enjoy a relaxed, warm, family atmosphere, then you will be right at home at Crossogue House. We offer full board for the duration of your holiday or short-term visit, providing all meals and refreshments. Due to the original construction of this Georgian house, we currently have four twin guest bedrooms available with some of the larger rooms able to sleep up to 4 if necessary. Hot showers are available at all times and we provide all towels and a laundry service if required.
Mealtimes are a focal point of each day. Our delicious, home-made cuisine is based on the use of our farm and garden produce and there is plenty of it. Vegetarians can be catered for. Just let us know at time of booking of any special dietary requirements.
Crossogue House is located 7km from Thurles town, which is served by a rail connection from Dublin Heuston & Cork. From Thurles, take the R498 road, then turn off on the R503. Follow this road until BALLYCAHILL. Go through the village (with the THATCH Bar on your right), turn LEFT after the sports field. Continue to the end of this road where you meet a T-junction. Our entrance is straight ahead.
I have been riding at Crossogue for the last 10 years, please give me a ring to hear more and ask any questions. People who come to Crossogue keep returning for the rest of their lives, it is a truly amazing atmosphere and experience
