ABOUT SIMULTRANS:

SimulTrans is a leading player in the rapidly growing translation and localization market ("localization" is the service of translating software and manuals into many languages). We help companies succeed internationally by producing multilingual products for them. Our clients are usually very large multinationals such as Apple, GE or Alcatel-Lucent. SimulTrans is a financially sound company that was established in 1984 in California's Silicon Valley (Mountain View - near San Francisco). Our European headquarters is in Dublin, Ireland. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- establish relationships with new prospects, converting companies to customers
- Work with our telemarketing team calling companies recorded in SimulTrans' Goldmine database and other online resources
- meet with prospects and customers regularly
- travel approximately 30% of the time
- communicate with business contacts clearly and professionally
- monitor progress of individual opportunities
- delegate project analysis tasks to production team and monitor progress
- create pricing spreadsheets and write proposals
- exceed customer expectations in meeting deadlines
- write and give presentations to prospects and customers, individually and in larger groups at conferences and events
- foster positive relationships with colleagues
- undertake other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

- excellent English communication skills, both in writing and in speaking particularly strong telephone skills
- knowledge of office productivity software, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Internet Explorer (experience with contact management applications is also helpful)
- a self-starting, proactive, charismatic attitude and ability to achieve objectives with minimal supervision
- localization or translation industry experience (while not absolutely required, this is extremely helpful)
- desire and ability to learn new concepts and acquire technical skills quickly.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Compensation ranges from €25K - €40K euro per year (comprised of a base salary ranging from €25K - €35K per year + commissions on orders won and bonuses).
