I'm selling a Canon EF-S 17-85mm IS purchased in March 2008. It's like new and I've been using a UV filter since the very first day so there are no scratches in the lens surface. It's a great lens for someone who wants to upgrade from the 18-55 kit one. Besides the wider range, there are three stops in the image stabilization - it really works great! -, it has the silent and efficient ultrasonic system for the zoom which also doesn't turn filters and doesn't make the lenses go longer; the construction is more solid and much better; the mount is made of metal and, for being ef-s, it's not very heavy neither big. In my opinion, it matches perfect with a rebel series.

Why am I selling it then?
Well, I just got an L one... =)
