Salary: 20,000 - 25,000 dirhams per month
(240,000-300,000 dirhams per annum equivalent to EUR48,000 - EUR60,000)

They currently have a vacancy for a Quantity Surveyor for their Abu Dhabi office. Responsibilities:
* Your role will be largely a co-ordination role as you will be involved in co-ordinating and checking the work that is being produced by external QS firms relating to the design and development of 8 towers in the UAE.
* You will be involved in the BOQ and specifications and your strong knowledge of cost estimations, certificates, measurements and site work is important
* Providing the client with cost advice for variation and budget purposes.
* Preparing and checking quotation and estimate for works from drawings and specifications.
* Advising client on value engineering options available during design process and construction.
* Checking main contract documents prior to signing for onerous clauses etc. and drawing tie-up with tender drawings.
* Advising the project team of procurement strategy for construction works.
Requirements:
· Degree in QS or equivalent
· Minimum of 8 years QS experience within a contracting or consultancy environment.
· Must have strong co-ordination skills and initiative to ensure that the work runs smoothly
· Experience with British Standards or equivalent
· If you have a combination of EU and UAE experience this would be ideal but not essential
